Description
This is a very rare test pressing for an unreleased Keith Hudson LP called "I Broke The Comb" from 1975. Several of the vocal tracks were used by Keith as source tracks for the original "Pick A Dub" LP, and have never been released before.
I acquired this LP on a trip to Jamaica several years ago. The condition ranges from poor to fine, but the good news is that five of the never before released tracks play fine. This LP was recorded in the Spring of 1975 by Keith Hudson, with three members of the Wailers Band: Carlton and Aston Barrett and Tyrone Downey. A couple of the tracks, like the early version of the title track, "I Broke The Comb", were done with the Soul Syndicate.
I would not normally put up for auction an album with so many clicks and pops, but given it's scarcity, and the fact that several key tracks play fine, I am doing so, as it is a true collector's item and an important album in the Keith Hudson discography.
