KEN KESEY - 1966 'Excerpts from THE ACID TEST 33 1/3 promo 45 with fold out poster and signed letter from label owner!
- Condition/Description: Here's a real piece of 60s era psychedelia - a radio station excerpt 45 (played at 33 1/3) from the forthcoming THE ACID TEST album by Ken Kesey and his Pranksters. The record is intended to document a 14 hour acid trip by Kesey and friends , among those friends being members of the Grateful Dead. The record is in NM/VG+ condition (one long scuff/light scratch that barely affects play). It comes with a 14" x 14" folded 'poster sleeve' that is identical to the eventual album cover, although obviously larger. Also included is a one-of-a-kind HAND TYPED and SIGNED letter from the SOUND CITY record label owner that simply must be read to be believed (please see ALL photos below). Both of these items are folded but in excellent condition. This is the whole package ... a 60s psychedelic rarity in very collectible condition.
