Artist: KENNY DORHAM
Title: “Jazz Contrasts”
Label: RIVERSIDE. Monaural first-pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is white with pale blue “reels” logo, black text, with deep groove. Catalog number is RLP 12-239.
Year: 1957.

Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is nice VG++/ VG+ with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care.
Side 1 is very close to NM, with a couple very slight scuffs but no serious or audible marks or issues. Side 2 has a couple small scuffs near the opening tracks that produce a few audible light ticks, but again no loud or jarring pops, ticks, or other issues that would interfere with the listening enjoyment. A very fine sounding disc. Fidelity is excellent. Labels are clean. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer sounding copy.
JACKET: Jacket is in Fair to Poor condition with obvious signs of wear and handling, but still serviceable as a “filler” jacket to accompany the nice disc.
Front panel (laminated) has faint writing at top left (name of original owner) and light tape residue along the top. There is chipping and cracking across the top seam from the left corner to approximately the mid-point of the top seam. Back panel has darkened with age and has tape residue, and a portion of the paper has torn where it appears that tape was removed from the top and bottom seams.
