KENNY DREW "UNDERCURRENT" LP - On Blue Note Records, BLP 4059. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp in outstanding condition! Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on the labels. Side 2 has the deep-groove (there are no known pressings of BLP 4059 with a deep-groove on both sides). RVG stamp and "Ear" etched in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Freddie Hubbard/trumpet; Hank Mobley/tenor sax; Kenny Drew/piano; Sam Jones/bass; Louis Hayes/drums. The vinyl is in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful sheen). Stunning!! The thick cardboard cover is in superb shape: bright & clean, displays wonderfully. Spine is virtually perfect and legible. Small vintage record store address sticker on back. Tiny price marked very faintly in pencil on back. There are NO seam splits of any kind, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st Street, New York 23. The songs are: Undercurrent; Funk-cosity; Lion's Den; The Pot's On; Groovin' The Blues; Ballade.
