Missing You, was a massive track in the clubs in Northern England before and after its release. It is an awesome piece of work by Kenny Sharp, displaying all the things that made him so popular - an uplifting piano lead, accompanied with the pounding beat and minimal breakdown. Beautiful yet driving, it was a perfect reflection of his live sets at that time. It was Kenny's first production, and even now he has yet to create anything that can touch this anthem.
The flipside remix by M-Zone is just as good as the A-side, giving M-Zones charactistic touch to the Track. Where the A-side takes you on a trip with its haunting piano melody, the M-Zone remix takes you to the darker side, twisting the beauty of the track and making it harder, with a punchy Beat and the addition of a squealing 303 bass riff toward the end.
Both the Original Track and the Remix are definate floor fillers, and fit into different sets. The second track on the B-Side "Hard Times" is a remix of the "Mr Kirks Nightmare", one of the early rave classics and although its presented here with a slightly harder, slightly darker edge, and faster BPM its still just nothing much more than filler compared to the other two awesoem tunes on this release.
This first release on TYT remains one of the best releases of all the UK44 Labels to date, and is definately one of my all-time top ten Hard Trance Classics, right up there alongside tunes like Komakino's Outface and M-Zone's Trance Explorer.
