CONDITION: VINYL NEAR MINT- Fantastic! Clean and bright with virtually no marks. Superb clear sound reproduction throughout. LABELS NEAR MINT- Original first pressing 'Gramophone Co Ltd' green Harvest label WITHOUT the later EMI box. Almost as new, with just a few light spindle marks evident under a good light. INNER SLEEVE EXCELLENT+ Original EMI cut cornered white paper inner sleeve with red LP adverts. Clean but slightly creased. The record is now housed in a new polylined paper sleeve. SLEEVE EXCELLENT+++/NEAR MINT- The original Ernest J. Day & Co. laminated gatefold sleeve has a single opening and is in stunning condition. The laminate is fully intact and undamaged, although there is a 5mm unlaminated strip to the front and back of the opening, which is common with EMI records of this time. The colours are as bright and vivid as when new. There are some slight signs of wear to the corners but overall the sleeve is beautifully clean and virtually unmarked: there are no folds, tears or stains, nor any handwriting, and the spine is fully intact, although there is some very minor creasing along the spine edge and a 2mm blemish on the bottom edge of the front cover below the O and Y of 'Joy'. The black and white inner gatefold looks as though it has never been opened.
A STUNNING WORK OF ENGLISH WHIMSY, THIS IS SIMPLY THE BEST COPY THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN.
AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ALL SERIOUS FANS OF LATE 60s PSYCHEDELIA.
ABOUT ME: If you haven't done business with me before my name is Andy Hibberd and I own a "bricks and mortar" secondhand record shop called 101 COLLECTORS RECORDS in Farnham, Surrey, about one hour out of central London. I deal in old and collectable vinyl, CDs, DVDs and memorabilia in all musical genres, as well as new releases and re-issues. Please feel free to get in touch if you need any further information about this item, if you have any questions about what's currently in stock, or if you have a collection for sale and need some advice.
All photographs are of the actual item offered for sale: I never use 'stock' pictures or re-use old photos of previously sold stock.
All items are listed for 10 days, running from Thursdays to Sundays. If you wish to leave a message, or ask a question, please try to do so before the last Sunday as I tend not to be chained to my laptop on my one day of the week off. Also, I always let my auctions run their full course, so please do not contact me asking if the item can be sold early. Live a little, enjoy the thrill of bidding.
Payment may only be made in UK £ Sterling: I accept PayPal, UK personal cheques (with bank guarantee card details), most credit/debit cards or good old-fashioned cash. On slow days feathers, beads and coloured glass baubles may also be considered...
I am always happy to receive any wants-lists, but file them carefully on little bits of paper under slightly larger bits of paper that aren't always quite where they should be. I will guarantee to find what you want within minutes of you a) finding it elsewhere, b) deciding you can live without Venezuelan Death Metal after all, or c) losing the will to live.
Despite that, all my vinyl is strictly graded using the Record Collector RRPG system, and all goods are properly protected and posted in strong, new Covers 33 packaging. Please recycle the packing cardboard if possible - it might just offset the damage done when the item was originally manufactured. Alternatively, throw it away and set fire to a couple of tyres.
If you are bidding, please read all descriptions fully and take the time to read my Postage and Packaging costs and my Returns Policy. Items selling for under £30 will be posted Royal Mail First Class in the UK, or by Airmail to destinations abroad. Items selling for £30 or above will only be posted by the Special Delivery Next Day service in the UK, which will include insurance. For similarily priced items selling to customers abroad I will only use the International Signed For service, which will also include insurance equal to the selling price. Certificates of Posting are obtained for all dispatched items without exception.
Please read my Feedback comments and look at my past sales: I am not an anonymous internet seller but a responsible and contactable UK record dealer. You can bid with confidence.
