original UK pressing of this early Kevin Ayers masterpiece - another of the harder to find Harvest LPs from 1970 - for this album Kevin was brilliantly assisted by his talented studio (and occasional concert) band The Whole World - the record is in near excellent condition with a few insignificant surface scuffs and hairlines - plays great - both labels bright, clean and sharp with only moderate spindle marks - the fabulous royal blue and silver gleaming laminated cover is excellent to near mint with a very nice spine (see photos), also tight seams, corners and sharp opening edges - there is merely a slight impression of the disc to the matt rear sleeve and front lamination plus a few tiny and virtually invisible creases - white rear cover is amazingly clean and fresh with all photos, lettering and logos jet-black and sharp - includes an original Harvest inner sleeve displaying album cover art from their truly amazing stable of late 60s / early 70s artists in close to mint condition, although I am a little uncertain as to whether or not these were originally issued with records from the ‘SHSP’ series, they are more usually found housing ‘SHVL’ releases - a fine and increasingly rare UK progressive / psych LP
