Description

This is the original Khansahib Rais Khan Sitar release entitled 'Sitar Solo'. It was made in India and released in 1969 on EMI/Odeon Records (ECSD 2412). It containts 4 rather long tracks and features Basheer Ahmad Khan on the Tabla. A really great LP of some wild sitar and tabla music. This LP is VERY difficult to find these days! Great for sampling or for any Sitar music fan!

The vinyl is between a VG++ & EX in condition. There are some very very small/light surface marks on the vinyl however, the play was excellent when I tested it & it sounded great! The vinyl still has a great shine to it! The record jacket has remained in good shape. The LP comes within an inner sleeve.

Songs include:
Side 1:
Raga - Darbari Kanada - Teen Taal, Dhun - Dadra
Side 2:
Raga - Tilak Kamod - Teen Taal, Dhun - Dadra
