Description
This is an extremely rare opportunity to own a privately produced book about Ton Van Bergeyk. It provides an overview of his life from his acoustic fingerpicking days through to his current stint with the Dutch Swing College Band. In addition to this, there are over 60 full tab transcriptions of his music including a uke tune, his showcase banjo pieces. There is an introduction by Ton, various tributes, an interview from 1980 together with many photographs taken throughout his musical career. There are nearly 300 pages in all.
It looks great as just a 'coffee table' book but if you are a fan of fingerpicking guitar, this must be the Holy Grail of all things acoustic and its contents should keep you very busy for several years!
The book uses 'antique vellum' Croxley Signature paper which gives a nice aged look and feel to the pages, which are laser printed. It really looks the business next to the old style cover, which is in full colour, front and back.
The item will be packaged very carefully, wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap and sent in a heavy duty box well sealed.
