I am selling off a lot of my records. At 55 I have had the pleasure of them and many don't get played as much as they should. Time for a new owner to enjoy them!
Here is an ORIGINAL 1979 10 INCH UK COPY of NERVOUS SYSTEM/TURN TO RED/ARE YOU RECEIVING by KILLING JOKE
I bought this from someone at school in 1980 and its in the same shape now as it came to me forty years ago.
Its in the same condition as when I bought it and I have cleaned it on a Pro Ject record cleaning machine (AFTER the pictures were taken) today. Also played it THREE TIMES on a LINN LP12 record player and carefully listened. There are hairlines on both sides of the vinyl, but there is no loss of sound quality or interference.
Please be aware, this is how it sounds on my deck with a relatively new stylus to my ears. Different systems will reproduce differently and a worn stylus may be less forgiving.
I love the quality of the recording of this record as it really punches through. Probably recorded on an 8 track analogue or something all those years ago and absolutely wipes the floor with modern recordings. It sounds brilliant. Crisp and clear with no distortion. I feel it falls within the definitions of EXCELLENT
This record was packaged as a 10 inch paper inner sleeve, a 10 inch poly bag and a printed 10 inch single sided card. Well, I say card as its somewhere between paper and card really. It has a "Malicious Damage" sticker stuck on the front which I assume is part of the presentation.
There is a tear at the top of this card as you can see by the detailed photographs, Please take time to examine this as very particular collectors will be put off by it. Make sure you are happy with the tear and you are fully aware of it.
Otherwise, there are some creases as you'd expect from a very flimsily packaged record. This is exactly how it came to me when I parted with my 50p all those years ago. I have graded this card as the sleeve so I feel it falls within the definitions of GOOD
I have always looked after my records and only played them on decent turntables with stylii in good condition. It will be cleaned with a Pro-Ject Record cleaning machine before sending to the sucessful bidder.
I have graded strictly to Record Collector standards as follows....
RECORD - EXCELLENT
SLEEVE - GOOD

Condition definitions...
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
On 22-Nov-20 at 19:44:14 GMT, seller added the following information: Just been asked a question by a chap about what I meant by "This is exactly how it came to me when I parted with my 50p all those years ago" and does this mean there are some inserts included.
In case anyone else wants to ask this question, I would only ever sell what I describe in the wording and the pictures. As no inserts are described, nor are there photographs of any, please be assured there are no inserts at all. I wouldn't even know what they are!
By stating how it came to me is referencing the condition and the contents of what the item is when I bought it from my school friends brother. Record, paper sleeve and flimsy card thing in a thin poly bag
So, to be clear - It was bought secondhand in exactly the same condition as what you see in the photographs and how it is described in the text. No Inserts included.

Just to state once again, there are no inserts or cards with this record. Only what is described in the text and photographs.
PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE EXPECTING ANYTHING THAT IS NOT DESCRIBED IN THE LISTING
I don't want anyone to be disappointed by expecting cards or inserts that have not been mentioned in the ad, but were included when new. I didn't buy the record new, I bought it secondhand and there were no cards or inserts with it then.
