Description
KIM FOWLEY
"LIGHTS" / "SOMETHING NEW AND DIFFERENT"
7" on the original PARLOPHONE RECORDS lable R 5521 from 1966
Kim Fowley was something of an enigma - taking vocals with THEM after Van Morrison had got that band off the ground, taking them to a more psychedelic style. He was America's answeer to Viv Stanshall of the Bonzo Dog Band in some ways, tongue in cheek master of edgey music!
Lights is a nice slice of *almost* commercial sound, but a grower that becomes quite compelling.
The flip is good too, making it something of a 'double-sider' here
And.... it's in lovely shape, superb!
The vinyl is in sparkling NEAR MINT condition, FULL shine
The lables are super clean and bright, NM-
Nice!
