On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by King Crimson called "In The Court Of The Crimson King" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pink 'i' Island label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS KING CRIMSONS FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE ISLAND LABEL AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND HAS SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN ALL THE INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAILS BELOW:

FIRSTLY THE LABELS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD ARE 'TEXTURED' (LATER ONES ARE NOT!) AND THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A//2 B//2 MATRIXES (LATER ONES HAVE HIGHER NUMBERS!)!!!!  AND SECONDLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE VINYL IS MUCH MUCH THICKER THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  MOST PINK 'i' ISLAND STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS (WITH LATER MATRIXES) ARE ON VERY THIN VINYL - BUT THIS ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 'TEXTURED' LABELS IS ALMOST DOUBLE THE THICKNESS OF MOST STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS!!!!  I MUST ALSO STRESS (BEFORE I RECIEVE ANY EMAILS!) THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' RELEASED 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!  THERE WERE OF COURSE 2 OR 3 ISLAND 'TEST PRESSINGS' DONE (WITH COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MATRIXES!), AND ALSO ABOUT 10 COPIES PRESSED WITH A//1 B//1 MATRIXES (ONLY 1 HAS EVER TURNED FOR SALE ON THE OPEN MARKET!) - BUT THESE WERE ALL 'PRE-RELEASE' PRESSINGS (TO TEST THE SOUND QUALITY - OR 'IN-HOUSE' COPIES) AND WERE NEVER RELEASED - AND THE CHANCES OF FINDING ANY OF THOSE IS 'REMOTE' TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS REALLY IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! 

AND ALTHOUGH THIS LP ISNT IN 100% MINT CONDITION (THOUGH IT IS STILL VERY VERY DECENT INDEED, WITH NO MAJOR FAULTS, AND IS WAY WAY ABOVE AVERAGE!), THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN THE HUGE FORTUNE REQUIRED TO OWN A MINT COPY!!!!  AND BELIEVE A HUGE FORTUNE WOULD BE REQUIRED - AS MINT COPIES OF THIS PARTICULAR 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING REGULARLY SELL FOR £600-£800+!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' PINK 'i' ISLAND LABEL, 'EARLIEST' RELEASED 1ST PRESS A//2 B//2 MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'ROBOR' GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  OF COURSE FOR YEARS NOW, PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DEBATING THE ORDER OF THE COVER MANUFACTURER - BUT THIS IS EXACTLY THE COVER THAT I FOUND WITH THIS LP (WITH 1ST PRESS ILPS 9111 CAT NUMBERS THROUGHOUT!), AND SO IT IS THE COVER I AM LISTING IT WITH - AS I AM CERTAINLY NOT GOING TO MUCK AROUND WITH IT AND SWOP IT!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is ILPS 9111 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The ULTRA RARE 'Heavily Textured' record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED THAT MUCH AT ALL!!!!   The vinyl is in GREAT condition - and is VERY bright & shiny looking indeed!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep feelable scratches, only 2 or 3 TINY surface marks, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 longer & slightly more visible (but completely NON sounding!) scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  There is also some background sound in places - though this is generally confined to the run on grooves, gaps & VERY quietest parts of the music ONLY (such as 'Moonchild' for example!) - and is completely lost WAY behind ALL of the louder sections, which play BRILLIANTLY!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is very VERY presentable indeed!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Robor' Gatefold Cover (with 1st Press ILPS 9111 Cat Numbers!) is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO sticker marks, NO edge wear, NO sticker tears, NO spinal wear (side words PERFECT!), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), some possible very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the EXTREME corner tips, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
