Description
On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by King Crimson called 'In The Court Of The Crimson King' and is a STEREO UK 1st pressing on the Pink 'i' Label!!!! HOWEVER THIS IS A VERY VERY SPECIAL PRESSING!!!! THIS LP IS VERY VERY RARE INDEED!!!! MOST 1ST PRESSINGS ARE PRESSED ON SLIGHTLY THINNER VINYL AND HAVE A SMOOTHER LABEL. HOWEVER I AM VERY PLEASED TO SAY THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS WITH THE MUCH THICKER VINYL, TEXTURED LABELS, AND B2/A2 MATRIX ENDINGS (TO MY KNOWLEDGE THESE ARE THE VERY EARLIEST MATRIX ENDINGS)!!!! THIS IS A 'PROPER' VERY 1ST PRESSING ON VERY VERY HIGH QUALITY EXTRA THICK VINYL AND VERY VERY SOUGHT AFTER INDEED!!!! NOT ONLY THIS BUT THE RECORD IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION AND LOOKS AND PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! IT IS VERY RARE TO FIND A 'PROPER' 1ST PRESSING IN THIS SORT OF CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK STEREO 1st pressing from 1969 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9111 on the ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 'textured' Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality King Crimson at their best!!!! Any fan of King Crimson or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few light paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! THIS IS A STUNNING COPY!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The Gatefold 'E.J.Day' Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases (cover retains ALL its original flatness), NO ringwear AT ALL, NO record imprint and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are RAZOR straight with NO feathering!!!! The inside is in AWESOME condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! A STUNNING GRADE FOR A VERY RARE RECORD!!!! TEXTURED DOUBLE THICKNESS VERY 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP ARE MASSIVELY HARD TO FIND!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!!
