Description

KING CRIMSON - IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING - 1969 ALBUM IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

ISLAND RECORDS - ILPS 9111 - MATRIX NUMBERS A4U/B4U   SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOGRAPHS   THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COPY OF THE 1969 PROG ROCK CLASSIC BY KING CRIMSON, ON THE ISLAND PINK RIM LABEL. VISUALLY THE VINYL IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, AND ALTHOUGH IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE SOME LIGHT HAIRLINES UNDER STRONG LIGHT, THESE DO NOT AFFECT PLAY. THERE IS MINIMAL BACKGROUND NOISE, EVEN ON THE QUIET SECTIONS OF "MOONFLOWER."   THERE ARE NO SKIPS OR STICKS; THE ONLY FAULT I COULD FIND WAS A LIGHT TICK FOR ABOUT FIVE REVOLUTIONS TOWARDS THE END OF "THE RETURN OF THE FIRE WITCH".     THE LABELS ARE CLEAN, WITHOUT MARKS, WRITING OR STICKERS     THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION, WITH A RIGID SPINE AND NO WRITING OR MARKS. THERE IS SOME MINOR SCUFFING TO THE TOP OF THE SPINE, BUT OVERALL IT IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE.  THE INNER SLEEVE IS PLAIN WHITE PAPER. AN AFFORDABLE AND VERY PRESENTABLE COPY OF A CLASSIC PROG ALBUM.      ============================================= Postage and packing: All records will be posted in brand new heavy duty mailers, or boxes for multiple items.   UK  - 12" SINGLE OR ALBUM: £4.00 (ADD £1.25 PER ADDITIONAL RECORD, DOUBLE ALBUMS COUNT AS TWO) EUROPE - 12" SINGLE OR ALBUM £6.00 (ADD £2.00 PER ADDITIONAL RECORD, DOUBLE ALBUMS COUNT AS TWO) WORLDWIDE - 12" SINGLE OR ALBUM £15.00 (ADD £2.50 PER ADDITIONAL RECORD, DOUBLE ALBUMS COUNT AS TWO)

PLEASE NOTE: WE NO LONGER SELL TO RUSSIA OR BELARUS FOLLOWING PROBLEMS WITH MISSING ITEMS.     ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have been a record collector since the 1960's and have traded them for the last twenty years. I use the Record Collector Magazine grading system, and always play-grade items before listing. As a collector myself I know the importance of the detail, so please bid with confidence. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions before bidding. Good Luck!   +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++     GRADINGS:   Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
