Description:  King Crimson In the wake of Poseidon on the Pink Island Label from my personal record collection. Visual grading the vinyl condition is in EX condition with a slight hairline no other marks to the surfaces both sides. Audio grading, I have clean the record and it does have ticks that are very clearly static within intros and during quieter tracks but then record plays clear throughout with excellent sound separation and clarity. Static should play out after a couple of plays! The vinyl still retains a lovely shine, is flat and free of warps. The labels are all clean and have no writing on what so ever, just a few faint spindle marks. I maybe under grading this record but honesty now during grading is better than an unhappy buyer, however my tone arm picks up every detail and I do use headphones to grade. The gatefold sleeve is clean and in better than very good condition, it does have handling and storage wear and the very slightest of wear to the corners and wear to the spine. The original Inner sleeve is in excellent condition. I have graded this record VG+ and VG+ for the sleeve.

Rest assured you are buying this record from a private collector’s personal collection. I have been collecting records for many years now. I grade all my records for sale here on eBay using the Record Collectors system. I play my records from start to finish on both sides and source direct on my high end turntable fitted with Ortofon 2M Black cartridge and stylus, grading not just the visual but also the audio quality too. The UK only postage and packaging on this Item is £4.00 and I make nothing from this as I will send the record out to you in a high quality mailer packed using two stiffeners and also within a plastic sleeve. The package will be marked fragile and will be sent the preferred postage Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery. However I have been asked by recently by some buyers to offer an alternative postage cost so please look at the other postage costs, as I will also post within the UK only 2nd class Royal Mail Economy Delivery for £3.25. I will dispatch the record between one to two working days of your cleared payment through Paypal. I have listed other records from my collection, which I am now selling off so please have a look my other Items for sale. I have graded this record honestly and I’m also aware that I could have made a misjudgement in quality of this used record during my grading I am only Human. I have photographed this record without cropping the image tightly so all of the record, sleeve, and inserts if the record has any can be viewed. However if you require any further information about the, condition of this record or its matrix numbers if not noted in description, or about overseas postage I can be messaged through ebay. If there are any issues with back of the Sleeve writing, tears, adhesive release or split seams this would have been noted in my description, however If you buy this record and you feel it is not as per the grading in the description that I have written, and as the grading advice as stated in the record collectors grading system (notes below) then I will be happy to refund your money on return of the same record to me promptly.

The Record Collectors Grading System

Mint: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
