Description
One of the most difficult KC albums to get into given it was the follow - up to Crimson King it is not surprising really. This album comes from my own collection and is in EX condition throughout. I only played tthis album 3 times including yesterday to check the quality, it is superb, no crackles hisses or pops, just pure muscial genious of what we bacame to know as the "best band in prog". Even Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree raves about KC and as many of you will know the most recent remastered re-releases of ITCOTCK and Red have had Wilson/Fripp treatment.
So why is this album is probably the most difficult album to get into. There are stange eiire melodies like "The Devil's Triangle" that should have been a horror moovie score and quirky tunes like "Cat Food". For the persistant this album is rewarding and as far a musicianship goes it's pushing so many boundaries. Few other bands have mastered the musical uniqeness of KC.
Anyway, the album, the gatefold cover and inserts are all MINT condition. You will need to wait a long time before an album in such pristine condition comes round again. go on treat youself or another to a totally unique Chrismas present. The will be over the moon and will be endebbted to you foreverer!
