Selling my record collection

King Crimson ~ In the Wake of the Poseidon

I am selling my record collection that I have collected over some 20 odd years.  Most of these records I know are first pressings, when unsure I have listed the information for buyer to decide whether it is a first pressing or an early pressing.  I used to work for a major record label and subsequently some minor ones, so have been lucky enough to pick up some very rare and special records, but I am not an expert by any means.

Most of these records are unplayed or very little played and therefore in excellent (mint) condition with no scratches unless stated.  Condition of the covers vary, but mostly they are as clean as new, bar some discolouration to inner sleeves in some cases commensurate with age and not detrimental.    I am an honest person and will describe the condition as accurately as I can.

I know that some of my records are worth a lot of money but I am starting all my auctions at a low price (enough to cover fees and time) and am hoping that you guys n gals know your stuff!   Most I will risk starting at just £2.99 but those I would rather keep than give away, so to speak I will start at low prices of £4.99 and £7.99, but these to me are more special.  Anyway keep your eyes open for that rare bargain or unusual Collectors item.

Here is an opportunity to get your hands on ……..

KING CRIMSON - IN THE WAKE OF POSEIDON.

The vinyl is great and shiny. This copy has been played no more than a handful of times and plays like new.  Better won’t be found!!

The gatefold cover is in reasonable condition for age but has a name on the inside of front cover of the original owner, written in felt above the stereo & cat no.  silly mare also wrote her name on inner sleeve and faintly I can now see her name on one side of record label.  Some people!   Anyway a wonderful rare item for the collection and great artwork on the cover.  Starting at a bargain price too!

Postal Insurance For Overseas Customers : Regular airmail (prices quoted above) does not include ANY insurance against loss or damage. So we strongly advise you to pay the bit extra for registered mail delivery. This is pretty essential for packages worth more than £30.00 as we obviously cannot track or replace any packages that go missing unless they have insurance paid for.

The best registered service which is available to ALL countries outside the UK is INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR. This costs an additional £3.50 (per order not per items). This insures package contents for £30.00 automatically and also requires a signature upon delivery. It also provides us with a tracking number should we have any problems. If you order a large amount of items (for example £75.00 worth) you can pay an additional £1.50 to get your package insured for up to £500 in value. Definitely worth it for larger parcels!
