KING CRIMSON - IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING 

ISLAND PINK RIM PALM TEXTURED LABEL 1970 SECOND UK PRESSING WITH E J DAY MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE, VINYL LOOKS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.

Originally released in 1969, I am offering today this original second UK pressing on the pink rim palm ISLAND label of this classic debut album by KING CRIMSON titled "IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING". The album visually is in near mint condition, but typical of these Island pressings it plays with light background noise throughout but with no sticks or skips etc.

The album comes complete with its original matt gatefold sleeve which was printed by E J Day, exactly the same as used on the pink label pressings,  which is in very good condition free from unwanted splits or sticker tears etc but it has a name written on the front in one of the eyes otherwise it shows it shows virtually no wear except to the edge of the spine making it no longer legible.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc.

   

 

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks in near mint barely played condition. Audibly I have played It through and it plays with light background noise throughout needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc. 

The SLEEVE, The E J Day matt gatefold sleeve is in very clean condition but has a name written on the front panel and the spine is no longer legible.  

The LABELS, The second issue pink rim palm Island heavy textured labels are extremely clean, showing absolutely no spindle traces Needless to say they are free from stickers or tears etc.

The INNER, The original generic inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.

 

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
