An Observation
ULTRA RARE 60's ALBUM
ISLAND RECORD LABEL
PINK LABEL / WHITE i
What makes this an ultra rare album is that it is a first pressing on the Island Record label from 1969, Matrix No ILPS 9111 A v 2 ILPS 9111 B // 4. It also has the E.J.Day Gatefold sleeve and is pressed on heavy vinyl.
The Album is in Very Good condition does have quite a few surface marks and a little nick on track one side one about 2mm long ( I have listened to this and I could not hear it in the background ).
The vinyl sounds excellent for a 38 years old album.
There is hardly any spindle wear and the labels are clean with no writing or marks.
The sleeve is in Very good condition does have some storage rubbing to corners, edges and minor rubbing to the spine. Again like the labels there is no writing on the sleeve.
The overall condition is Very Good and the little nick on the vinyl is minor and does not detract from this very sought after album.
It is very difficult to find first presses on the market and this would make an excellent addition to someone's collection.
