KING CRIMSON "LARKS' TONGUES IN ASPIC" ON ISLAND RECORD LABEL ILPS 9230.

EXCELLENT FIRST PRESSING PINK RIM VINYL AND EXCELLENT SLEEVE.

RELEASED IN 1973, AN EXCELLENT PROGRESSIVE EXPERIMENTAL PSYCH ROCK ALBUM.

Fisrt Pressing Matrix Numbers Side 1 ILPS 9230 A-2U with SARK hand etched into run offs and Side 2 ILPS B-2U.

Side 1 : Larks' Tongues In Aspic, Part One; Book Of Saturday; Exiles.

Side 2 : Easy Money; The Talking Drum; Larks' Tongues In Aspic, Part Two.

An Outstanding Album from one of the great groups of sixties and early 70's.

The Record is in excellent condition. The original Island Pink Rim Palm Tree Label. Both Labels are excellent, both labels are very clean and show no signs of spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre holes.

The Vinyl is very clean, plays very well. The vinyl surface of the record is excellent, hardly any background noise detected other than to lead-ins to both sides where neeedle has dropped as is quite usual, and some of the quieter sections, plays very well. The vinyl is excellent and is virtually free of marks other than for only very light storage marks which are mainly only visible under very strong light. Overall excellent condition. The Vinyl is a rich dark black and has a very high gloss sheen and classic Stereo sound.

The Thick Card Sleeve Cover is in excellent condition. It is very clean, there are No creases, No tears, No writing, No nasty grubby marks or rips, Small marks from an old sticker on top left corner of sleeve. Some slight signs of aging on rear. All the sleeve edges are sharp and free from creases, small edge wear, the spine is rigid and crease free and most important all the text is intact. Overall the sleeve is in excellent condition. First Pressing sleeve with fine Tapered Edges Spine.

Record will be posted in fully protective packaging.

I am slowly thinning out my vast collection of mainly 60's and 70's Vinyl along with some from the 80's,90's. lots of memories but has got out of control somewhat!!, lots of duplicate copies and different pressings. lots of Psych and Rock. Vertigo, Harvest and Island LPs, along with some lesser known labels. Lots of King Crimson.
