KING CRIMSON "LARKS' TONGUES IN ASPIC" LP 1973 RARE ISLAND UK ALBUM !!

I am selling my husband's collection. This Album is listed in the Rare Records Guide. It was released in 1973 on the Island Record Label.The tracks are:- Larks' Tongues in Aspic Part 1, Book of Saturday, Exiles, Easy Money, The Talking Drum and Larks' Tongues..Part 2.This is a very good copy.

The sleeve is non laminated.The front cover has an original King Crimson sticker in the bottom corner. This has one crease and is a bit dirty. There is a faint ring mark around the top half of the front sleeve. There are a couple of tiny scratch indentations at the centre.There is a slight collection of small spots on the spine edge and a few small creases around the edges.There is also a very slight tear towards the bottom of the open edge. The back cover also has a faint ring mark and is a bit dirty along the top and bottom. The edges are just a little scuffed at the corners. The spine, which has a pinched design at both ends, is in good condition and the writing clear.I have highlighted the flaws but overall the sleeve is in  good condition.

The vinyl is contained in a  white paper sleeve. One side of this has the Album lyrics printed on it. It is a bit discoloured through age but otherwise intact. The patent number and MADE IN ENGLAND are stamped in blue in the corners.

Vinyl record itself is very clean with almost no visible marks. The record plays  well. There is a small amount of surface noise in some of the quieter passages.

The Pink Rim Island Label is in excellent condition. Both sides are in great shiny condition with only very light spindle wear.

Matrix No. The word SARK is hand etched onto Side 1. ILPS 9230 A/B 2U 

Records will be packed carefully with padding and stiffeners.
