RECORD
The Record has minimal surface 'whispers' which are only visible under bright light. I have played the record all the way through on all sides and it plays EXCELLENT++.
LABELS
The Island Pink Rim Labels have no rips, stains, graffiti or spindle marks.
RECORD IS GRADED AS EXCELLENT++ CONDITION
SLEEVE
The original E.J. Day Gatefold Sleeve has no tears, split seams or graffiti. The colours are vibrant and both the spine and the lamination are excellent. It has very minimal signs of shelf wear and typical of E.J. Day, the inner cover is slightly misaligned.
SLEEVE IS GRADED AS EXCELLENT CONDITION
Grading Records and Sleeves that are nearly 50 years old can be somewhat subjective. Visual Grading is useless and terms such as 'surface gloss' or 'looks unplayed' etc. give no indication to the actual sound of the record. I 'Visually' and more importantly 'Play' grade my records listening to the: Dynamic Contrast, Soundstage Clarity, Bass Response, Stage Depth, Instrumentation Definition and a sense of Musical Ease, and base my Grade on this. The Records are cleaned using the best system available which gives a reduction in LP noise floor resulting in improved clarity and instrumental definition. After Cleaning and Play Grading, the Records are put into a Spin Care 'Anti-Static' Sleeve and will be shipped in that sleeve.
