KING CRIMSON - STARLESS AND BIBLE BLACK
ISLAND PINK RIM PALM TEXTURED LABEL 1974 FIRST UK PRESSING WITH ROBOR HEAVY TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE & LYRIC INNER, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in 1974, I am offering today this original and excellent condition first UK pressing on the pink rim palm ISLAND label of this classic 1974 album by KING CRIMSON titled "STARLESS AND BIBLE BLACK". The album is in excellent playing condition. with no sticks or skips etc, A top example.
The album comes complete with its original heavy textured gatefold sleeve which was printed by Robor which is in very good condition free from unwanted writing or splits etc but it shows wear to the spine making it just about legible.
There is also a lyric inner which is clean but has started to split on one edge.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there was some very light background noise to be heard during the quiet passages.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually & audibly is in excellent condition. It is a nice example needless to say absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc but there is some very light background noise which may disperse with a good clean.
The SLEEVE, The Robor printed heavy textured gatefold sleeve is in reasonably clean condition. There are no splits stickers or unwanted writing etc. but the spine is just about legible.
The LABELS, The first issue pink rim palm Island labels are extremely clean, showing just a handful of spindle traces Needless to say they are free from stickers or tears etc.
The INNER, The original lyric inner is clean and free from unwanted writing etc but has a small split on one edge.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
