THIS IS ONE OF KING CRIMSON'S HARDER TO FIND ORIGINAL UK FIRST PRESSINGS - IT SOLD POORLY UPON ITS 1975 RELEASE AND DIDN'T CHART IN THE UK
BUT IT'S A FANTASTIC LP AND THIS COPY IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As Robert Fripp had done with King Crimson's first live LP, Earthbound (1972), USA (1974) is a single-disc concert package documenting the quartet during its most concurrent swing through North America.
So insistent that the band would not be resurrected, Fripp concluded the LP's liner notes at the time with the three-letter epitaph: "R.I.P." (see photos of the back of the sleeve)
The 1973/1974 King Crimson included the collective efforts of Fripp (guitar/mellotron), David Cross (violin), John Wetton (bass/vocals), and Bill Bruford (drums/percussion).
USA also includes notable violin overdubs by Eddie Jobson on the tracks "Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Pt. 2" and "21st Century Schizoid Man," as well as the electric piano addendum to "Lament."
The readings of "Lament" and "Exiles" demonstrate this band's overwhelming sonic sensibilities. They are able to contrast and incorporate thick, viscous melodies and rhythms with alternately underlying sensitive, as well as ultimately beautiful, musical responses.
The majority of the LP is taken from a performance on June 28, 1974, at the Casino in Asbury Park, NJ, with the notable exception of "21st Century Schizoid Man," which was recorded two nights later at the Palace Theatre in Providence, RI.

VINYL Visual: The surfaces have their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW LUSTRE and are practically UNMARKED
VINYL Audio: SUPERB - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY SHARP and EXTREMELY STRONG AUDIO REPRODUCTION. There are NO scratches, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO clicks/pops. This LP has a HUGE dynamic range from the almost silent details to the loudest crescendos and it plays throughout BEAUTIFULLY to an impressively high standard with NO groove-wear and NO distortion (its seen light play only). Graded MINT(-) for audio - a beautiful playing copy which would be pretty hard to beat - STUNNING - you really won't find one which sounds better
SLEEVE: The original DEEPLY LAMINATED AND GLOSSY sleeve, "PRINTED IN ENGLAND BY ROBOR LIMITED." is CLEAN, SHARP, BRIGHT and FRESH.. The edges have only minimal signs of storage wear and the spine displays all text CLEAR and BOLD with just a couple of light creases - EXCELLENT+
The Pale Blue Island Company inner is CLEAN, SHARP and FRESH with NO splits to any of the edges. The album is housed in a new inner sleeve and will be posted to you in this inner to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the blue inner during transit
