On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Kinks called 'Something Else' and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pye label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IN FACT, THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST KINKS LPS EVER!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS IS THE FAR MORE SOUGHT AFTER MONO 1ST PRESSING!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PYE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Pye UK 1st pressing from 1967 and is SERIOUSLY rare in every respect!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is NPL 18193 on the 1st Press Pye label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Kinks at their best!!!! Any fan of The Kinks, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in GREAT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, a small name on one label (luckily this is written in red - so on the Pink labels this is easy to overlook), and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl isnt in MINT condition (though it is NOT trashed) - but it still plays VERY well indeed!!!! It has a few hairlines, 2 or 3 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The vinyl also has a VERY slight 'sheen' to it (probably from the pressing, or maybe storage) - though this is only visible under light. It is great to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual with barely ANY clicks/pops AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music!!!! THIS RECORD PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must visually STRICTLY grade Good++++ if not better - with the playing grade better still!!!! THIS RECORD PLAYS VERY WELL INDEED!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Garrod & Lofthouse Flipback 'Patents Pending' Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! The cover has only some VERY slight 'roughening/darkening' to the edges, NO splits, barely ANY spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is flat looking), only some VERY light general rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, only some EXTREMELY light general rubbing, a small 'creaseline' in the bottom flipback, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed)!!!! THIS LP MAY NOT BE PERFECT - BUT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE, PLAYS VERY WELL INDEED, AND IS STILL VERY PRESENTABLE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
