Up for sale is an exceptionally scarce Colombian pressing of KISS Alive II, manufactured by Discos Fuentes under license from Casablanca Records. While U.S. copies are plentiful, original Colombian pressings surface only occasionally, making them a highly desirable addition for collectors building a worldwide KISS collection.

This A/D and B/C sequence is the original factory configuration and was intentionally produced for automatic record changers. It is not a mispress.

Condition:

Cover: Excellent overall with strong eye appeal. Colors remain vibrant and the artwork displays beautifully.

Vinyl: Excellent overall. Both records retain outstanding original gloss with only light signs of careful handling. No significant scratches or abuse noted. A beautiful collector-quality set.

A note regarding the jacket and preservation:

This copy came to me with its original loose clear protective overwrap surrounding the package. The jacket itself is constructed differently from a typical U.S. release, consisting of a printed paper outer wrap with internal cardboard stiffeners rather than a traditional pocket-style jacket. Over time, the loose plastic had become worn and distracted from the presentation.

To preserve the paper artwork, I carefully removed only the deteriorated loose overwrap. The printed cover itself has not been taped, glued, trimmed, repaired, or altered in any way. It is now protected inside a modern archival outer sleeve, which I believe presents the piece far better while helping preserve it for years to come.

The original loose clear overwrap will be included with the sale so the next owner can decide whether to retain it or continue storing the record in its archival sleeve. I chose preservation over leaving aging plastic around an otherwise beautiful collectible.

This is not another common U.S. Alive II. Colombian Discos Fuentes KISS pressings are far less frequently encountered and have become increasingly difficult to locate, particularly in this level of condition. They remain an important piece for collectors pursuing international Casablanca releases.
