Side A:      “BETH”

Side B:      “SHOUT IT OUT LOUD”

                  (Grítalo Fuerte)

MEGARARE original CASABLANCA Records, very first Stereo press released in Chile in 1976 by QUATRO LTDA. Records, licensed from Casablanca Records, Inc. USA, with Casablanca Records labels, catalog number S-CAS-9005, with matrix numbers S-CAS-9005-A  EB-CD in Side A and S-CAS-9005-B  EB-CD in Side B. Yes, ANOTHER GREAT FIND FROM CHILE!!! In both sides it’s written the date of pressing in the deadwax, “21 12 76” (December 21th of 1976)!!! WOW!!! And remember we are conservatives for grading our records!!!

As you must know if you are a fan or collector of Kiss, records made in Chile by Quatro Ltda. Records are the most collectible records of Kiss of South America and here you have the chance the own this single in superb condition. This single was released in Chile late 1976 and so far we know it’s the only single with “Beth” and “Shout It Out Loud” worldwide!!! Title tracks are written in English with “Shout It Out Loud” translated to Spanish and full credits in English only in both sides. Yes, Yes, Yes, another FIND from this side of the world and remember it’s in SUPERB condition!!!

This single comes in a generic cover which it’s in good condition. Record is in VG or VG+ condition, it’s glossy and clean but with loads of hairlines, scuffs and some light scratches, which don’t affect sound. Labels are in great NM- or NM condition the Side A, clean and clear, with only minimal spindle hole wear, and in EX+ or NM- condition the Side B, clear and clean, but with some light wear. Sound is the best part, it’s in NM- or NM condition the Side A, loud and clear, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with only some minimal occasional crackles here and there, which of course don’t cause major distraction, and in NM or NM+ condition the Side B, loud and clear, absolutely stunning audio. Overall a MEGARARE record with still a glossy look and with a superb sound quality after 36 years!!! No distortions, no jumps, no clicks, no pops, a great sound from the beginning to the end!!! And keep in mind the fact this is an UNIQUE SINGLE with “Beth” and “Shout It Out Loud” and the date of pressing in the deadwax!!! And, yes Sirs, WHAT A FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels in detail. WOW!!!

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.

IMPORTANT TO READ

We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I always declare the records as gift.

If you have some doubt or question feel free to contact us, we will be glad to answer all that you want to know about this item.
