This is basically as new having been played once.  The cover is like new and  the records look untouched.
This is the most recent (of very, very many) high profile KISS compilations however this one manages to cover ALL eras of the bands fifty year history right from that debut album back in 74 all the way up to their last (underappreciated) stuidio album Monster.  For a casual fan all the hits are present and correct because this compilation largely relies on several decades of singles (Rock And Roll All Nite, God Gave Rock N Roll To You II, I Was Made For Lovin' You, Crazy Crazy Nights) but even to the more devoted there are still the occasional curveballs that remind you there was more to the band (Shandi?  A huge single in Australia when KISS had "Mass Kissteria!", something close to a freak Bros moment of ubiquitous enormity or maybe I'm A Legend Tonight - a single A side lost somewhere on a European compilation in 1982).
if you only want one KISS album, track for track it would be this.  If you're a fan looking to fill a completist gap in your collection for not much loot, here's your chance.
