KISS – KISS (1974)

TRUE US FIRST PRESS • NB 9001 • 60001/60002-1A/1A • BELL SOUND “JOE”

This is an exceptional early US pressing of KISS’ 1974 debut album featuring the highly desirable 1A/1A lacquer combination on both sides.

This is the original album configuration without “Kissin’ Time.” The matrix/runout information is clearly photographed so serious collectors can verify exactly what is being offered.

CONDITION

• Vinyl: EX

Clean, glossy and extremely well preserved for a 1974 copy. The vinyl does show visible superficial marks under direct lighting, which are represented in the photographs.

Most importantly, those visual marks do not materially affect playback. This copy plays exceptionally quiet—nearly silent through passages—with powerful, clear fidelity and the strong presentation associated with this 1A/1A cut.

Audio sample available upon request.

• Cover: NM

Outstanding presentation with very strong overall appearance. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description.

WHY THIS COPY MATTERS

With a record like this, the details are everything: original NB 9001 configuration, no “Kissin’ Time,” matching 60001/60002 1A/1A matrices, and Bell Sound “JOE” markings.

Combined with the exceptional playback and high-grade cover, this is a serious collector copy of one of the most important albums in the KISS catalog.

No attempt has been made to hide the vinyl’s visual markings or inflate the grade. It is being conservatively represented as EX vinyl / NM cover, with the photographs and playback performance speaking for themselves.

Stored and handled with archival care. Additional photographs and audio samples are available upon request.

Fair, realistic offers are always considered.

Thank you for visiting Hail the Grails Records — where the hunt ends.
