This is the jam! Back in the early 70's, Roundhouse gave us their essential DOWN TO EARTH recording filled with tasty treats for the Jazz, Prog and Funk collector! This beautiful German pressing on HARVEST is in gorgeous condition too.
Now a cult collector's piece and remaining on so many wants lists, this LP is deep in the Marc Moulin territory for it's weird cross polinating Euro Jazz sound. Comprising of elements from Progressive, Funk and Jazz musics, the LP is filled with nasty fuzz leads, massive Rock styled drums and deep Funky Krautrock synth fuelled rhythms on "Alchemy is Good for You" PLUS you get the hard and deadly break driven "HOPE" suite. One for the Heads!
Another solid reason this LP gets Heads all fired up is the deep Klaus Weiss/Sunbirds connection with it's mad Hip Hop friendly fusion, NEVER sounding better than on the sleazy head nod factor 10 "Hope for the Future". Massive Dusty Fingers atmosphere all over this jam.
A true European collaboration of German, Swiss & French musicians, kicking out the Placebo flavoured jams. Stunning set.
