ERICH WOLFGANG KORNGOLD –
DCC Audiophile LPZ-2017 180-gram
Re-issue of Warner 1438 –
MAGNIFICENT!
Another audiophile DCC re-issued triumph, this edition features the wonderful film music of Korngold.
Utilizing the original 1961 Warner two-track master tapes, DCC delivers terrific sound, in THE SEA HAWK, THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER, THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD, THE PRIVATE LIVES OF ELIZABETH AND ESSEX, and KINGS ROW, among others.
Laminated cover and record are like new. Near mint in playback, perhaps better, this is heavy platter #301 off the press, a first stamper.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
