KOZMIK FUNK
Percussion In Space (12")
NYC US
Cat: NYC 012. Rel: 1 May 23
Disco/Nu Disco/Re-Edits
Side 1 - Track 1. Percussion In Space Side 1 - Track 2. Percussion In Space (bonus beats) Side 2 - Track 1. Planet Of Drums Side 2 - Track 2. Space Drums
NYC's signature sound is 'Space Disco' - characterised by its largely instrumental, dark and atmospheric elements and finally released after a nine month wait, 'Percussion in Space' is a four track vinyl EP that showcases that sound to the hilt. From the lo-slung desolate disco of the title track, to the enchanting polyrhythms of 'Planet of Drums' and the complex percussion tapestry of 'Space Drums' - this EP takes listeners on a percussive, spaced-out journey deep into the galaxy.
