Here is a chance to acquire this rare and hard to find UK 1973 1st press Vertigo release combined double LP of Kraftwerk's first two German-released albums.

This copy is in superb conditon in pristine gatefold cover complete with original Vertigo swirl inner sleeves and with Vertigo swirl labels only used on the first edition release.

I have graded this copy using Vinyl Records Collector Magazine Grading Guide and tried to give an honest and accurate description of all the individual components of this package.

I have photographed the vinyl, labels, cover and inner sleeves from all aspects and given a written description of all aspects of the album.

Media (play graded using a Linn Sondek LP12 with Linn Basik Plus and Denon DL 110 MC cartridge): Near Mint - the vinyl looks good on all four sides with its original high sheen and lustre and no obvious visual marks. There is very little surface noise throught both LPs. There are one or two minor pops audible on side four (which has the greatest amount of quiet/silent passages) but these are not repetitive or instrusive. Run ins and run outs on all four sides have only minimal surface noise present. Both LPs sit perfectly flat on the turntable with no signs of any warping of the vinyl.

All four labels are near mint being clean with no damage, writing, stickers etc and just light spindle marking on Side B of LP 1 (see photos) and slight spindle impressions on Side A of LP 1 only visible under close up lens using flash (see photos). LP 2 shows no signs of spindle wear at all.

Cover: Near Mint - the outer-laminated gatefold sleeve is exceptionally clean with no damage, writing, splits or tears etc and just light signs of use. There is a minor light crease at the top rear corner. There is a single light crease along the length of the spine consistent with being opened only occasionally. The lamination is complete in all respects and there are no splits, tears, separation or peeling anywhere. There is no obvious wear to the spine or upper and lower edges. There is only one slight area of minor wear to the bottom edge of the spine consisent with shelf storage (see picture).

Inner sleeves: Excellent - the original Vertigo swirl inner sleeves are generally in excellent condition with just some yellowing & crinkling along the top opening edges. This is the only detracting element of the entire package but there are no rips, tears or splits in the seams and overall they are both very presentable and of course perfectly serviceable.

The original promotion price sticker is even present having been removed from the cover and preserved on a polythene protective sleeve in which the album is housed.

I will happily refund within 7 days of receipt in the unlikely event that the winning buyer is not entirely satisfied with the purchase on return of the album in exactly the same condition it is supplied (postage at buyer's cost).

The album will be shipped in a heavyweight cardboard LP mailer with the vinyl removed from the cover for protection and shipped in plain white inner sleeves to protect the swirl inner sleeves.
