Description
1977 1ST UK press of Kraftwerk's vinyl album "Trans-Europe Express" on Capitol Records and with matrices:
E-ST 1 11603-3 HrM
E-ST 2 11603-1 HrM
The record visually is in VG+ condition with visible hairlines from previous play but these are light - there are no scratches or anything deep or feelable. Both sides played perfectly without jumps or clicks, minor crackle at quiet moments and an excellent sound quality. The labels are undamaged
Outer sleeve is in very good condition. There is no major damage but there is wear in the form of edge and corner creasing/scuffing from use and age and 2 seam splits. It is, however, strong and intact and holds the record perfectly.
Picture inner is in VGC with no major damage, but there is a easily repairable seam split and some minor ringmarks from storage. Please see photos.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
