This is a remarkable copy of this sought-after LP. Although it is forty years old it looks almost like new and appears to have hardly ever been touched. It has a near-perfect laminated cover and vinyl which looks like it has been played only once or never. This is, without doubt, the best copy that I have ever seen.

Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl looks amazing and has retained its original high sheen with barely a mark to be seen anywhere. It has clearly been very well cared for and rarely, if ever, played. Under bright light, I could see a light surface scuff on 'Ruckzuck' but it is entirely superficial and has absolutely no audible impact. Apart from this there are just a handful of the finest, whispy, sleeve-removal lines, but there is absolutely nothing significant anywhere. These disks have clearly hardly ever been out of the sleeve. I have played the entire record (all four sides) and it sounds every bit as good as it looks with absolutely nothing to report anywhere. For the sake of completeness I would mention that there is some very soft background noise in the quiet parts and between tracks and the occasional random click, but there is absolutely nothing loud or intrusive anywhere and no repetitive clicks anywhere. Considering how quiet much of this album is, the play-back is remarkable and I doubt that it would be possible to find a first pressing which plays any better than this. I would have no hesitation in play-grading the whole album as Mint or Near Mint. This is a superb example which I think would be impossible to improve upon.
Labels: All four labels look superb with absolutely no signs of damage, writing, stickers etc and minimal or no spindle marking. Judging by the spindle marks I would estimate that the disks have been played no more than once (before my play-through to grade them).
Sleeve: The sleeve is really nice and clean with no damage, writing, splits, tears or stickers etc and minimal signs of use. There is one small oxbow laminate crease on the front and a hint of shaping around the disks, but apart from this the cover looks pretty-much like new. I have never seen a better one.
Edge wear: top/spine/bottom/openings: none/none/none/none. There is no wear to the edges apart from at the tips of the corners. The spine is solid and firm without even any vertical creasing suggesting that it has hardly ever been opened and the text is all 100% readable.
Corner wear: minimal at the openings and moderate at the spine corners, heaviest at the top of the spine, but nothing prominent (see photos).
Inner sleeves: No splits, tears or damage, just some minor creasing and age-related discolouration - mainly around the edges where the adhesive is - and more on one sleeve than the other, but they are both very presentable.
This is an outstanding example and I doubt that it would be possible to find a better one.
