This is the full 11 minute version of Krystal - burning flame. This was only released as a single sided test press in 1998 (approx 50 copies).Oakenfold decided to feature it on his global underground after hearing a cd-r version of the track a few weeks before from one of my friends. this prompted a samll test press he belives. Oakenfold played this track a few memorable times at cream in 1998, once on his 1998 essential mix (the one where he played an acetate of mansun - wide open space , tilt etc)The other time was when he used it as a set opener, the track is great to open with as it has a beutiful almost orchestral opening, with flickering flame noises/crackles and the main rift, the intro lasts approx 4 minutes with a break beat section before the main trance kicks off (the 5 minutes or so feat on oakeys global undergorund).
PLEASE NOTE! THE REMIXES WHICH WERE RELEASED IN 1999, EG Abfahrt At Sundown Mix , Alone In Dub ETC WERE VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL MIX I AM SELLING. IT WAS THE ORIGINAL MIX WHICH WAS FEATURED ON GU007 BY OAKENFOLD. A FEW ACETATES WERE ALSO MADE APPARENTLY! The 1999 remixes issued by flex were pressed in a fairly large number and given general release.
This is a must have in terms of trance music and rarities !
