Description
KYUNG WHA CHUNG - " CON AMORE " , The Decca Record Company Ltd. (417 289-1) Stereo, 1987.
Very rare, original 1987 first Dutch Stereo issue of this rare LP - see photos.
Featuring piano accompniment by Phillip Moll.
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and put in a new poly-lined inner sleeve (with the original retained to keep it complete, of course).
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (No proper scratches, groove damage, excessive surface noise, distortion, etc. Clean labels with just a couple of very light spindle trails. In daylight it looks perfectly clean, but under the scrutiny of a bright grading lamp there are some faint paper scuffs and a few very faint hairline surface marks - as you would expect, these do not correlate to any audible flaws on playback. Generally it plays well - strong, clear and without any serious interuptions. Being ultra critical, as the record played out in it's entirety there was the odd occasional very faint background tick and crackle. Nothing serious enough to ruin the listening experience and personally I believe these very slight imperfections to be in the pressing rather than the result of any damage, wear or misuse. Indeed, this record has clearly only had very light use in it's lifetime and by 1987 vinyl pressing really wasn't what it once had been.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = V.G.+ (In reasonable shape, but does suffer a series of smaller creases eminating from the edges of the sleeve, a thumb crease, some light wear to corners and the previous owner's name written on the rear in blue biro - see photos for further clarification)
NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.
