Description
One of the finest pressings of one of the most successful albums released from the mid-70s....Kansas's 'Leftoverture'. Led by the hit "Carry on Wayward Son," Leftoverture was Kansas's breakthrough album and a thorough representation of its assorted musical sensibilities, from the power ballad "The Wall" to the punchy rock of "What's on My Mind" to the long-winded pomp of "Magnum Opus."
Initially released in 1976, the copy offered here is the much desired pressing released in 1981 by CBS records (HZ 44224) as part of their 'Half-Speed Mastered' series. This pressing really does justice to the skillful engineering of Bill Evans and the outstanding production of Jeff Glixman.
