redgarnett Store ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This superb 2LP set – a still-sealed copy – from MCA Classics (MCA 2-11011, US pressing, label iteration unknown, DDD stereo) features Gilbert Kaplan and the London Symphony Orchestra’s magnificent presentation of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 in C minor “Resurrection”, recorded in thrilling sound at St. David’s Halll, Cardiff, Wales, on 27-29 July 1987 (producer: James Mallinson / engineer: Tony Faulkner).

            Dyfed Choir

Note: The organ and bells of Yale University, USA, were dubbed onto the master tape on 29 January 1988.

CONDITION:

The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.

The condition of the still-sealed jacket is near-MINT. Really, there are no flaws to speak of and the album appears as new. There are no owners' markings, bends, seamsplits,or other defects and the album remains solid, bright, and glossy.  Overall, this is a truly fine collector's copy.

The condition of the 2 LPs is MINT throughout – these are pristine, still-sealed LPs – the ideal collector's copies.
