Herbert von Karajan conducts the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra & Vienna Singverein.

With Christian Ferras, solo violin on the Concerto and Gundula Janowitz & Eberhard Waechter, solo voices on the Requiem.

German 1st edition stereo pressing with "Alle Hersteller"-label. The set is one from a limited series of numbered boxes, with No. 517 attached inside (see 2nd photo).7 LPs with booklet, catalogue-No.: SKL 133/139.

Everything about this set - pressing, quality of the box and the booklet, innersleeves with embossed DGG-Logo - speaks of the will of the producers to create an article of exclusiveness and grandeur. An early triumph of record-production!

• Condition Box: EX to NM: Slightest possible wear.
  

• Condition Vinyls: NM. I'm pretty sure, that four LPs have never been played, the other three have only very light spindle wear. All vinyls look untouched. Impossible to find a better preserved copy! Massive vinyls!
  

• Condition Booklet: EX to NM. Very light wear.
