Description

Ultrarare and searched for original 1. issue on the limegreen Capitol label ST-271 by this great female singer / songwriter with an unique voice from 1969:

KAREN DALTON - IT IS SO HARD TO TELL WHO IS GOING TO LOVE YOU THE BEST.

This is a great folk/psych record with some blues influences, too! Much better than her second lp which is offerd more frequently on ebay!

WHILE NOT CREDITED ON THE ALBUM, THIS LP FEATURES MAJOR INVOLVEMENT BY THE GREAT FRED NEIL, WHO – TO HIS CREDIT - LURED KAREN DALTON INTO THE STUDIO. SHE REFUSED TO RECORD A FULL SESSION WORTH OF MATERIAL, SO FRED NEIL HAD TO TRICK HER INTO THE STUDIO AND HAD THE SESSION TAPED SURREPTITIOUSLY!!!

The record is not mint, but still a very nice vg+: Some light scratches cause not too disturbing soft clicks here and there. The price is according to the rarity of this masterpiece! The cover is excellent with the usual cutout hole, but still very nice!

Porto 4,50 € innerhalb Deutschlands. 7 € postage within Europe, 18 $ airmail to the USA.
