Katalin Ladik was part of the avant-garde group, The Bosch + Bosch group. They worked in Hungary from the very late 60’s to 1976. From the book, IMPOSSIBLE HISTORIES, it says, “This group established a post-avant-garde “thematization” of historic avant-gardes before the Second World War and of the neo-avant-garde of the 1950’s and the 1960s. The work of the Bosch + Bosch group…was nomadic in the sense that they used various means of artistic expression in both an eclectic and autoreflexive way, from visual poetry, body art, performance art and land art to textual and analytical conceptual art…” (whew!)

From moma.org:

Ladik’s scores elicit reflections on and interventions into the physical environment of Novi Sad, Serbia. Ladik was the only female member of Bosch + Bosch, an art collective based in Subotica, Serbia, whose diverse activities touched on performance, Conceptual art, land art, sound art, and visual poetry.
