Description
Here for auction: Kathen, Gamba play Beethoven's "Emperor" Concerto No 5. SXL 6109 ED1 UK Decca with "original recording by" label's. NM/EX+. 2E 3E matrix.
I have checked parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 super with SME Mk III arm and B&O MMC II cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA Mark III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in fine EX+ condition.Very nice disc indeed.Just some very light wispy paper marks.There are no kinks or warps and disc lies flat on turntable.
Sound is beautifully clear and undistorted and there were no repetetive tics in the parts played.Disc play's with lovely silent surfaces...In fact disc sounds lovely!
Cover is EX condition. Has a corner crease and moderate general wear.
Label's EX+ Could see only a few light spindle marks and there are no other marks or blemishes at all.
Original inner sleeve is EX
