Description
- Extremely hard to find 1961 monaural original LP “The Sound Of Kathy Young” (Indigo Ind-LP 504) with background vocals by The Innocents.
- The tracklist includes her hit “A Thousand Stars” plus Angel On My Shoulder/Please Love Me Forever/Lonely Blue Nights/Baby, Oh Baby/Eddie My Darling/Happy Birthday Blues/Sparkle And Shine/Gee Whiz (Look At His Eyes)/Will You Love Me Tomorrow/Angel Baby/Someone To Love.
- The LP retains much of the original gloss with some sleeve scuffs and a few scratches. There is one fairly sizable scratch on side one track one. It is audible for most of that track but I played it and it does not skip. Aside from that, the record plays crisp and clear with some surface noise and a few “tics”. Overall the LP actually plays better than it looks. The cover has no splits, tears or cutouts with some light wear front and back and a name written on one back corner. The seams show some wear and some flaking. Bidders should probably consider this a filler copy until a higher grade copy (with a higher price) comes along.
