Original UK Deram label stereo press LP.

This was the band's third album recorded at Trident & Morgan Studios, London between December 1969 & May 1970 and released in August. The band had played Woodstock in 1969 and had been favourably compared to Blood Sweat & Tears by American critics. They recorded their third album, whilst gigging in the UK, but although popular the sales were slow, as with all their albums. The album features some great guitar from Miller Anderson and a fantastic horn section of Dave Caswell & Lyle Jenkins.

This is the original issue with the small red Deram labels, the P-1W P-2W matrices and the 1-i 1-C stampers of the 1st presses!   The Upton Printing Group matt sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear and light storage rubbing/creasing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and mostly readable, the blue company inner is intact and in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines/needle scuffs and one or two small areas of bag scuffing visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud crackle or hiss and definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves. Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; ZAL-9999, P-1W stamper 1-i, ZAL-10000, P-2W stamper 1-C. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 UK stereo issue of this album!
