Visual Near Mint Minus
- Plays Near Mint Plus
24 tracks of Ken Nordine's Mental Martini, dulcet toned,
iconic word jazz, brilliant vignettes on every color and tone
in the spectrum.
LP: (Graded) Near Mint Minus, according to Goldmine record grading definitions. This record grades as an LP that appears to either have been handled and played in the most cautious manner possible, but has picked up some superficial sleeve scuffs that have no effect whatever on either tracking or sound on playback (please see details on Play Grading below). Right on the edge of Near Mint - the plating surface and labels are terrific and the labels have no spindle trails. Vinyl plating retains as new luster. The LP is exceptionally clean and turntable ready.
Play Grade: Near Mint Plus
- this pressing is spectacular sounding - detail, imaging, dynamics and stereo separation. The quietness of digital and the richness of analog. The absence of surface noise both during and between tracks, rivals Compact Disc quietness, which is particularly important with a recording such as this with various passages that are acoustic and sparsely accompanied. Rates a 9.9 on the below scale:
Cover: (Graded) Near Mint - little to no indications of shelfwear. Essentially everything but the shrinkwrap. Does have a minor corner ding (please see photo detail). All solid seams and fully legible spine printing. Retains original issue innersleeve.
