Description

Classic New Jazz recording of giants Kenny Burrell and John Coltrane New Jazz 8276 with Tommy Flanagan, Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb supporting these all stars. This album is mainly known for the debut of one of the famous five songs written for Paul Chambers called Big Paul which takes 14 minutes on side B (The other 4 songs are Paul's Pal written by Sonny Rollins, 5 For Paul written and played as a solo by Max Roach, Mr. P.C. by John Coltrane and The P.C. Blues written by Red Garland) Paul Chambers was the finest bassist ever in the world of Jazz and one listen to Big Paul and the fantastic solos here quickly dispel any doubt as to this claim. Record condition is VG+ has a few light surface marks that are light but disclosing everything here. Writing on back cover, someone drew a circle around the Trident logo and  other than that the record is in very nice condition. Tunes are:
