Description

Red and silver label, deep groove. Clarke plays drums and is the leader. The featured artist is John La Porta, alto sax. Also included are Donald Byrd, trumpet; Ronnie Ball, piano; Wendell Marshall, bass. 5 tracks. Rare. Cover: VG+ to mint(-). Intact and clean. Outline of a sticker on the back cover. Possibly there was a rectangular (1” x 2” paper scotch taped to the back cover. The tape and paper are gone but the dark shading from the tape remains. There are no tears and this faded stain does not interfere with the notes as is, essentially, a minor marking. Gloss finished cover. Fine overall condition. Record: Mint. Visually shows no wear. No surface noise. Possibly played only 1 or 2 times. Fine collectable condition. Audible checked.
