Description
Savoy MG 12065, red label, deep groove, original. Leader, Clarke, drums. The group includes John La Porta(pictured on the front cover), alto sax; Donald Byrd, trumpet; Ronnie Ball, piano; Wendell Marshall, bass. 6 tracks. Name of previous owner on a sticker on 1 label. The record features a fine performance by the underappreciated La Porta.
Cover: VG+ or Better Intact with slight wear on 2 corners. Slight aging on the back cover with the name of the previous owner printed in the upper margin of the back cover. Fine, gloss finished front cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Played several times. Several, extremely light, short rub marks on the surface. These are barely visible. There a few very infrequent, light, short intervals of groove noise. These are practically inaudible. I woulld consider the record as have no surface noise other than the minor noise described. Fine condition. Audibly checked.
