Description
Both labels on the record have New York USA, mono. The record has the "ear" and "van gelder" inscribed in dead wax on both sides. 4 tracks with leader, Dorham, trumpet; Joe Henderson, tenor sax; Tommy Flanagan, piano; Richard Davis, bass; Albert "Tootie" Heath, drums.
Cover: VG(-) 1" split on the top edge at the spine; 1/2"split on the bottom edge at the insert edge and a 3" split on the bottom edge. The front cover has moderate aging and some soil from ordinary handling and storage. The back cover has light aging.
Record: VG+ or Better Visually shows very light wear with some surface rub marks on both sides. This results in some light clicks and some light groove noise in a few places. This is mostly audible on Track 1, Side 1. Most of the record plays with no surface noise and excellent overall sound. I have graded conservatively. Audibly checked.
